LIFE IN THE CURLY LANE
As a globetrotting writer, I have lived, shopped, mothered, traveled and written novels and stories in Africa, Asia, the Middle East as well as in the US and Europe. After spending six years in Armenia, a small country in the Caucasus Mountains, I recently moved to the US to plan further travels.
After writing 35 romance novels, I'm now enjoying writing longer women’s fiction, and I’ve also ventured down the path of non-fiction and write about my (mis)adventures living in foreign places. I am not an expatriate living in paradise, remodeling an old farm house, drinking wine from my own grapes and harvesting my own olives. I have, however, seen my Palestinian butcher's bedroom in Ramallah, dined on fertility goat sausage in Kenya, and attended a traditional bride-price ceremony in Ghana. (My husband got me cheap!)
The Washington Post published several of my stories, and RDR Books included one of my tales in their travel-humor story collection I Should Have Just Stayed Home. Four of my stories appear in The Global Nomad and Friends: Tales of Breaking Free and Breaking Bread Around the World (Three Rivers Press).
My life in the curly lane is a fun one, mostly. You can read about my (mis)adventures on my blog LIFE IN THE EXPAT LANE.
My Harlequin Presents romance novels are listed under BOOKS.
